Logo Animation: Madrid Opening Ceremony

For the years 2007 to 2009, the previous 3 years of conference animations were played followed by the latest one. The animation above consists of a repeat of the Edinburgh animation followed by the new animations for Banff (2007), Beijing (2008) and Madrid (2009).

Playing the Animations

With the various formats available on devices, this animation is scalable to your window size. It is best viewed in a window that has a 4:3 aspect ratio. Internally the SVG address space is 1024 by 768.

To start the animation, hit the cyan circle on the bottom right.

The animation should run in a modern version of Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari.

Microsoft do not provide support for all the facilities in HTML5. The major omission is supporting SVG's declarative animation functionality used to animate the logos.
