Logo Animation: Florence Opening Ceremony
For the years 2013 to 2015, the previous 3 years of conference animations were played followed by the latest on. The animation above consists of a repeat of the Lyon animation followed by the new animations for Rio (2013), Seoul (2014) and Florence (2015).
Playing the Animations
With the various formats available on devices, this animation is scalable to your window size. It is best viewed in a window that has a 4:3 aspect ratio. Internally the SVG address space is 1024 by 768.
To start the animation, hit the cyan circle on the bottom right.
The animation should run in a modern version of Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari. There has been a Firefox update that has stopped the animation running. Hopefully it will get cured sometime
Microsoft do not provide support for all the facilities in HTML5. The major omission is supporting SVG's declarative animation functionality used to animate the logos.
