Overview
Each year, the Rutherford Laboratory produced an Annual Report giving the highlights of the year's activities. This section gives the parts of these reports that relate to the computing activities in the period 1964 to 1985.
Some of the content is very similar from year to year (such as the configuration of the mainframe computers). Where little of significance has changed, the diagrams have been omitted.
Space was always at a premium in the Annual Report and photographs were kept to a minimum. Where appropriate, additional relevant photographs have been added.
