This is one of a set of six films on Hash Tables produced by Bob Hopgood and used for teaching at Brunel University.
The films were originally white on blue but were later remade in colour. This particular film used a synchronised soundtrack generated on a VCS3 synthesiser connected to a PDP15 computer.
The version with the soundtrack was shown for the first time at IFIP 74 in Stockholm.
