The 2904 Development system was housed in the Atlas Centre. With the closure of the ICL 1906A, the IBM 360/195 system was moved from the Rutherford Computer Room in R1 to the Atlas Centre. For a while, the production 2904 computer system was housed in the R1 Computer Room prior to be moved to Swindon Office. The ICL 2904 production system arrived in the Spring of 1979 and the official acceptance took place on 22 April, 1979.
