DCS Meetings

The DCS Panel sponsored a series of meetings to promote cooperation between individual DCS funded researchers and communication between DCS funded projects and industry, Government Establishments and other research groups. There were basically three types:

Special Interest Groups
Small 1-day meetings for up to 30 DCS researchers plus invited guests for technical discussions.
Workshops
These ran for 1 or 2 days for up to 100 people with about 70% being DCS researchers. Aim here was to present DCS projects to a wider audience.
Conferences/Colloquium
Up to 250 people with most DCS researchers attending and others.
