IBM 360/195 -- Overview

The IBM 360/195 was the major source of computing power on the Chilton site from the day it arrived in November 1971 until it was decommissioned in October/November 1982. The developments of the system over the period 1971 to 1978 are given in the Annual Reports. This section gives some information about the technology and other relevant topics.
