Molecular Structures and Dimensions is a series of standard reference volumes published by the International Union of Crystallography in conjunction with the Crystallographic Data Centre in Cambridge. These were published at regular intervals up to Volume 16 at least. Kate Crennell worked with the authors in the production of Volume 8 (August 77), Index to the Volumes (December 1977) and Volume 9 (July 1978). All three volumes used the FR80 microfilm recorder to produce the page proofs.

The Volume 9 compilation was derived from the database of the Crystallographic Data Centre in Cambridge. The production of the volume wa done by Kate Crennell who amended the page layout, tabulation and justification routines developed for Volume 8 and wrote new routines as required. Mike Chiu did the necessary font development. Some example pages are shown below.
