Rutherford and Daresbury

Being unable to add particle processing equipment directly to Atlas and having a ceiling on the amount of Atlas time available resulted in the Rutherford Laboratory purchasing their own system.

Daresbury purchase an IBM 360/50 both as a control system and a data processing facility.
