Atlas's SC4020 Microfilm Recorder

The Stromberg Carlson SC4020 Microfilm Recorder served the Atlas Laboratory well for many years providing most of the printed and film output for users. A special attraction was its ability to make animated films.

This section gives some idea of the parts of the hardware that made the SC4020 unique and its place as the major peripheral during most of the life of the Atlas Laboratory.
