Bob Hopgood met Don Weiner and Woody Anderson at a UAIDE Conference. As a result a copy of the two packages CAMP and CAMPER (a 3D version) were obtained. Both were very easy to use for the non-programmer. A set of commands were defined on cards and an animated film resulted.
Both CAMP and CAMPER ran on Atlas, the ICL 1906A, the PDP15 and the IBM 360/195. A derivative of the system called PAEPOS is still in use today.
A copy of the CAMPER Manual is on the site
The animation shown here is part of a film, produced by Woody Anderson and Don Weiner, demonstrating the CAMPER facilities.
