SPROGS Technical Paper No 19: PDP15 Graphics software FOG and VTPRIM

J R Gallop

20 March 1974

FOG, the package of graphics routines which is intended to replace VTPRIM, has been put onto the DOS system library .LIBR BIN. Any program which uses FOG should now not need to load the routines explicitly.

Since FOG and VTPRIM have some identical external names, VTPRIM is removed from the library and is now a separate file VTPRIM BIN on the <SYS> area of the disc.

Any program using VTPRIM and made available as a relocateable binary file to be LOADed must be loaded with VTPRIM explicitly. Any program made available as a chained overlay system can be left untouched until it needs to be rechained for another reason; VTPRIM must be used explicitly when rechaining.
